A$AP Nast and Reebok Reunite for Zig Kinetica 2.5 Shrouded Sequel
has extended his collaborative run with and announced a new take on the Zig Kinetica 2.5. Like his previous Zig colab, this edition again draws on the model’s rugged readiness, but this time adds a practical removable shroud that offers extra protection whether on the trail or street.
The 2.5 edition is an incremental update to version two, which now sees a beefier lugged rubber sole and premium synthetic and mesh upper. Nast has selected a more muted colourway compared to the last pair’s striking red and black combo; this time, it’s more of a brown-maroon and black, the latter of which has a glossy finish for a bit of pop.
Aforementioned is the shroud that can be attached to the shoes and cinched up. In practical terms, this cover helps keep dirt and rocks from entering via the ankle. However, it’s likely going to be used more as an aesthetic addition for most wearers.
The A$AP Nast x Reebok Zig Kinetica 2.5 will release on December 2.
