Are You Ready for the Air Jordan 3 ‘Racer Blue’?
Debuting during Michael Jordan’s 1997-98 NBA season, the gave signature line its maiden mid-cut, as designer pulled the trigger on yet another iconic silhouette.
Originally wrapped in the industry-defining elephant print (at the behest of Jordan), the Air Jordan 3 again transcended the hardwood, combining lifestyle and performance characteristics to become one of the Jordan Brand’s more revered silhouettes. The first Jordan Brand silhouette to feature both Air units and the Jumpman logo, the AJ3 featured in the culturally seismic ‘Mike and Mars’ campaign, whilst it also inaugurated in Michael Jordan’s 1998 Slam Dunk contest (where he famously launched from the free-throw line).
Composed in a white, black, ‘Cement Grey’, and ‘Racer Blue’ colour scheme, the latest Air Jordan 3 to arrive is the eye-catching ‘Racer Blue’ colourway.
Although no leaked photos have yet surfaced, we can expect the silhouette to be manufactured with classic white leather underlays, iconic elephant print, and deep accents of racer blue.
Look for the Air Jordan 3 ‘Racer Blue’ to release on July 10 in 2021. The retail price is set at $190.
