APB, Yellowbrick and Reebok’s Classic Leather Legacy Explores the Concept of Duality
APB, creative education company Yellowbrick and have come together for a special colab that's dubbed 'Duality.' The end result of an online mentorship and education program run by the three partners over the last year, the 'Duality' was created by a trio of program attendees: Isaac Reeves, Ashley Hamilton, and Ben Gass. It's inspired by the concept of duality and a slogan the three young designers created – 'dream in the night, achieve in the day.'
Limited to only 150 pairs the APB x Yellowbrick x Reebok Classic Leather Legacy features an upper made of nylon and reflective material, all of which is dressed in a vivid colour scheme that features yellow, blue and red embellishments. Heels feature split branding and an individually-numbered tag, while thick die-cut midsoles round off the look.
The release is accompanied by a short film that explains the concept of the collection - dreaming in the night and achieving in the day – by showing an aspiring musician who perfects his craft and performs at night while still holding down a corporate 9-5 during the day.
