A.D. Warhol X Converse (Tomato Soup)
UPDATE: Wish ATL just popped a fresh can on this upcoming Andy Warhol x Converse Collection. Check the updated flicks ahead of the upcoming drop date.
The Andy Warhol Foundation is souping up their licensing department again, combining with Converse to drop a new pack of apparel and sneakers bearing the legendary artist's work. On the footwear side, Converse places one of Warhol’s most iconic and recognisable prints, the Campbell’s Soup Can, a work of art originally produced in 1962, on Chuck Taylor All Star high and low models. It's a beautiful marriage of two pop culture icons. This is not the first Andy Warhol sneaker collaboration though, remember the Vans X Supreme Soup Pack from 2012? Ubiquity is exactly how Warhol would have wanted it. Get more details here and stack your pop art paper for purchase from Saturday, February 7 at specialty retailers, Converse stores and Converse.com.
