Anderson .Paak Joins Vans, Unveils a Collaborative Old Skool DX and Sid DX
Grammy-nominated musician Anderson. Paak has join to become their very first Global Music Ambassador. The announcement was accompanied with the unveiling a special footwear and apparel capsule, which includes a collaborative and Sid DX.
‘I’m honoured to be the newest member of the Vans Family and look forward to making history with one of the most respected global brands,’ said Anderson. ‘I’m thankful for Vans’ partnership with .Paak House and can’t wait to broaden our reach to help even more people tap into their greatest potential.’
The footwear offerings nod to Anderson’s South Californian roots, and his early discography. The Old Skool is a tribute to his album Venice, hit with bright yellows, blues, and reds, as seen on the album’s artwork. A bright blue Jazz stripe adds to the vibrancy, while curved black lines work to offset the multicoloured madness. Additionally, the Sid DX honours the Malibu LP, coming through with a wavy black and white chenille exterior, with the Flying V logo embroidered across both sides in bright green.
