Ahead of the global drop, Aminé’s hometown event doubles as a stage for a one-of-a-kind release – a wild, multicolour remix of the ‘Biblioteca’ runner, limited to just 100 pairs. This festival-only edition burns retinas with neon bursts of blue, pink, orange, and yellow – vivid enough to mirror the event’s signage and energy.
To snag a shot at this technicolour masterpiece, fans must pre-order the green ‘Biblioteca’ silhouette at the fest, held September 13–14 in Portland. That act enters them into the raffle – a creative nod to community-driven hype that’s become Aminé’s signature.
The ‘Biblioteca’ edition itself was conceived as a tribute to Portland’s public libraries, especially the Multnomah County branches that shaped Aminé’s youth. Design details hammer that theme home: glow-in-the-dark ‘N’ pods, glossy overlays, and insole graphics resembling a library card, all packaged inside boxes styled after book-drop stations. It’s a thoughtful, playful translation of library culture into sneaker form.
The general release of the green ‘Biblioteca’ is slated for October 3 with some outlets citing October 4.
