ALYX Raffling Exclusive Nike Air Force 1 High Colab
, currently of Givenchy and fame, released an ultra premium collaboration via his latter label last year. Complete with buttery full-grain leather and ALYX’s adopted ‘Cobra’ buckle strap, it was a high-end execution with an equally high RRP. For ballers of both kinds, MMW is releasing two new colourways of the uber Uptowns. And raffles are open right now.
Much like the first pairs spotted at PFW 2020, and the subsequent public release, these new AF-1 Highs receive a makeover that separates them from their GR brethren. For one, the uppers have been sourced from leather leaders , who spec their sustainably dyed Lyra variety. The lining is similarly luxurious, using what ALYX call ‘Kashmere’, which features tumbled and silky hand (foot?) feel. This time around, MMW adds some grey into the mix via the Swooshes and aforementioned ‘Cobra’ buckled ankle straps. On the colourway front, it’s either black or white again with tonal midsoles – the latter almost passing off as an opulent remake of the OG 1982 colourway. 1019 ALYX 9SM laser etched into the lateral heel counters completes the colab.
