Matthew M. Williams’ ALYX were one of the first brands to release a sneaker collaboration in 2020, with a strapping Nike Air Force 1 High, right in the middle of January. While these monochromatic mashers were originally an extremely limited release during Paris Fashion Week, a wider drop has now been scheduled for the end of this week... 10 months later.

The first drop was shrouded in mystery for those who weren’t on the ground at PFW, and these pairs will likely be similar, if not identical, to the PFW pairs. Which sees the AF-1 in high-cut form receive a luxe full-grain leather upper, extra-nice waxed shoelaces, and a ‘Cobra’ buckle (the quintessential ALYX signature) retrofitted to the ankle strap. Plus, lasered 1017 ALYX 9SM branding shows up on the buckle and heel counter. Displayed on two blacked-out colourways, this is a colab that lets the details do the talking. There’s currently no word on whether the two white colourways seen during PFW will also release. Maybe later on.

The ALYX x Nike Air Force 1 High collaboration is due to release via ALYX on October 24, but they'll be a Nike SNKRS drop too.
