London’s Always Bring Neon Heat to the adidas Pro Model ADV

London-based skate and surf label Always Do What You Should Do (ADWYSD) have teamed up with Skateboarding for a bold reinterpretation of the Pro Model ADV. Known for punchy visuals and tongue-in-cheek messaging, Always bring their signature style to a silhouette rooted in Three-Stripe heritage.
The collaboration features a high-gloss black patent leather upper, contrasted by neon ‘Semi Solar Slime’ accents on the Three Stripes and lining. A metallic silver ‘always’ script hits the lateral stripes, while the Always ‘@’ logo appears across the tongue, heel, and insole. Finishing touches include ‘Collegiate Navy’ laces and a matching outsole to ground the otherwise electric colourway.
Beneath the bold design is a skate-ready build. The Pro Model ADV boasts internal tongue straps, responsive cushioning, and reinforced construction – perfect for sessioning curbs or kicking it curbside. A mid-top evolution of the adidas Superstar, it strikes a nostalgic balance between hoops heritage and modern skate function.
Originally introduced in the 1970s as a mid-top version of the adidas the Pro Model made its name on the hardwood. Decades later, the silhouette was reengineered for skateboarding under the ADV line, blending the iconic shelltoe with performance tweaks like reinforced stitching, improved cushioning, and grippy traction built for grip tape.
To mark the drop, Always rolled out a London campaign featuring iconic surfer Bobby Martinez and a fleet of wrapped double-decker buses. The Always x adidas Pro Model ADV is available now at Always, with a wider release on adidas CONFIRMED set for May 10.
