Air Max 1 Influence Rubs Off On the AM97
While collectors eagerly await a release date announcement for Sean Wotherspoon's RevolutionAir-y , Nike have quietly dropped their own fusion of the two influential runners in the form of the 'Royal.'
Unlike Wotherspoon's take, the physical construction of the AM97 hasn't been altered for this release – instead this hybrid is all about material and colour. Drawing from the OG '', these sleek speedsters feature mesh-based uppers equipped with leather 'Game Royal' mudguards and matching mini Swooshes. Two of the AM97's signature reflective stripes have been retained to seal the hybridisation with just the right amount of pop.
The release joins the recently revealed , which honoured the Air Max 95.
