and have come together to produce the most surprising colab of the year, with each brand creating a tribute to Michael Jordan's college roots at the University of North Carolina.

Converse’s contribution resurrects the final sneaker of the GOAT's amateur career – the star-and-chevron-equipped Fastbreak – in UNC team colours. Over at the Jumpman, a special rendition of the has been produced, featuring a mix of both Bulls' and Tar Heels' colours. Despite having never been released to the public, the hybrid make-up was worn by MJ in an alumni game against UCLA all the way back in June 1987. For an added touch, commemorative heel branding has been added in place of the traditional Nike text, with ‘MJ’ on the left and ‘6/28/87’ – the date of the game – on the right.

The Air Jordan x Converse 'Alumni' pack will release on June 28 through selected stockists, including Concepts.
