Official Images: Air Jordan 9 'Chile Red'
have launched into November by dominating the sneaker interwebs, thanks to a wealth of leaks and official images appearing – among them, the 'Chile Red'. A sneaker that's just as spicy as its moniker indicates, the 'Chile Red' is scheduled to release in the early days of 2022 and bears a pretty significant resemblance to the Air Jordan 9 'Motorboat Jones' from 2012.
Hot red is the name of the game on the upper, where a patent leather mudguard overlays a synthetic textile upper in tonal style. The spice is brought down just a touch by dashes of black detailing on pieces like the eyelets, heel tab and branding and the outsole. Safe to say, it's not for those who prefer mild sauce on their chicken wings!
Though we mentioned above that this colourway is set to release early in 2022, it was originally slated to drop this December. Unfortunately, it was alongside other styles like the and the due to factory delays. Barring any further delays, you'll be able to spice up your sneaker rotation with the 'Chile Red' come February 25. MSRP is set at $190.
