In the early '90s, the MJ-led Chicago Bulls were unstoppable, delivering Chicago's first after winning three successive NBA Championships during the 1991-93 season. To celebrate, in the last two years have given each iconic sneaker His Airness laced-up during the respective seasons a celebratory makeover as part of the 'Championship Trophy and Confetti' pack. Following the C&C themed and AJ7s over the last two years, now it's the Air Jordan 8's turn to pop bottles and puff Cuban stogies.
In this pack, two premium colourways are with embellished with metallic golden strap buckles and Jumpman branding. The 'Confetti' colourway comes in tumbled black leather with multi-coloured bursts of confetti across the mudguard and shimmering 'Anthracite' upper, while the 'Championship Trophy' model pops with a 'Light Bone' midsole and perforated white suede uppers. Look closely and you'll notice Jordan's fingerprints smudged on the gold mudguard; a reference to MJ lofting the championship trophy during the glory days. To Top off the celebratory release, each pair will come with a bag of confetti – the perfect accompaniment for 'just-copped' jubilation.
