and alike have a heck of a lot of sneaker anniversaries to celebrate in 2022, and one of those is the 30th anniversary of the . In celebration of the milestone 'birthday,' Jordan Brand may be bringing back the legendary Air Jordan 7 'Cardinal' this holiday season.
One of the Air Jordan 7's most famous colourways, the 'Cardinal' was worn by during a portion of the 1991-92 season. What's long made it popular is its unique take on a Chicago Bulls colour scheme. Of course, there's all the red, white and black you'd expect to see, but a little extra flair is provided by rich 'Chutney' hits on the cut-out collar's Jumpman logo, the heel tabs and the outsole.
Pictured above is a look at the 2011 'Cardinal' retro via , as images of the 2022 release have yet to be made available. However, its style code and colour description – 'White/Black/Cardinal Red/Chutney' – have been revealed. It'll retail for $200, and though Jordan Brand haven't announced any date of arrival a release date of November 26 (one day after Black Friday) has been floated.
