A colourful, collegiate-themed piece of Jordan Brand's forthcoming spring 2022 Air Jordan retro collection, the Air Jordan 6 'UNC' pays homage to the UNC Tar Heels, Michael Jordan's collegiate squad. They're supposed to hit retailers in early March, but ahead of their full debut @solesbyzay has provided an early in-hand look.

Combining white leather with powder blue nubuck plus scattered hits of black and navy, this 'UNC' offers a similar colourblocking scheme to the OG Air Jordan 6 'Carmine'. It's also got a large Jordan Brand jock tag on its heel, a detail that's been used on many other collegiate-themed releases like the Air Jordan 5 'Oregon' and Air Jordan 5 'Michigan'. A final touch of detail is supplied by a tri-colour print on both the inside and outside of the translucent tongue, and the shoes come packaged in a special powder blue box.

This isn't the first 'UNC' take on the Air Jordan 6 – a black and blue pair released in 2017 – but it's definitely the most colourful! If you're looking to add it to your rotation you'll be able to do so come March 5, when it releases at select Jordan Brand stockists, GOAT and Flight Club.
