Borrowing colour-blocking cues from the Air Jordan 6 ‘Carmine’, the ‘Cool Grey’ iteration kicks things off with a soft grey nubuck base featuring signature perforations at the midfoot. Overlays come in the form of crisp white leather, while a darker grey hue is utilised for the tongues, lace locks, heel tabs and additional midsole layers. Metallic silver detailing appears on the lacing system, with Jumpman logos and ‘AIR’ text featured on the heels.
Of course, all the hallmarks of Air Jordan 6 are present, including translucent rubber soles, neoprene sleeves and a visible Air bag. Famously, the silhouette was inspired by Jordan’s very own German sportscar, and it rode shotgun with MJ on the way to his first NBA championship in 1991.
