UPDATE: Woah! Can you believe that it was all the way back in June that we got our first look at the 'Alternate Collection'? After a solid seven months of teasing, Jordan Brand kicked off the New Year right by finally dropping the on January 2nd. JB aren't finished with January just yet however and are set to treat us yet again before the month is through with the release of the AJ5 Lows. Look for these 'Bred' beauties to hit select Jordan stockists on January 30th, including Sneaker Politics.

dropped a meteor on the sneakerworld this morning and we're all still crawling out of the crater, rubbing our eyes and wondering if it's real. A stack of goodness is coming in 2016 from the JB camp, and this 'Alternate Collection' will definitely send some tongues wagging like Jordan's did back in the day. Three Js are delivered in colour combos that rep the palette of the team that made him/the team he made – the Chicago Bulls. It's a sort of play on what Player Editions would look like today if Jordan was a Blake Griffin or Russell Westbrook. Jordan wearing a signature colourway of a shoe that is actually his own shoe – that's some meta ish there, Jordan Brand. Right here we see the Low iteration, served in a dastardly black upper with devil red accents up top and down below plus a big slab of concrete 3M on the tongue. Stay with us for more info in the coming months.
