Cancelled for 2024! Air Jordan 5 ‘Black Cat’

The neo-classic ‘Black Cat’ colourway has leapt onto various models from the Jumpman vault in recent years. Gracing iconic silhouettes like the Air Jordan 4, Air Jordan 6 and Air Jordan 13 (hell, we even saw a Golf version in 2021), the ‘Black Cat’ is now rumoured to appear on the Air Jordan 5 this year.

Shared by industry insider zsneakerheadz and Sneaker Files, the mockup emphasises a familiar aesthetic of black and charcoal hues, although we wouldn’t be surprised if there were some subtle differences in the final design. Designated as a SE release by Sneaker Files, the colourway is also expected to feature nubuck uppers.

For its part, the Air Jordan 5 continues to be a popular choice for Jordan-heads in recent years, with the silhouette no doubt refuelled by a stellar collaboration by A Ma Maniére in 2023.
