Release Details: Air Jordan 4 ‘Where The Wild Things Are’
An iconic children’s picture book from author and illustrator Maurice Sendak, Where The Wild Things Are (1963), continues to enchant readers in the 21st century with the fantasy adventure exhumed by Spike Jonze and Dave Eggers in the 2009 film.
Of course, animated storytelling continues to inspire the sneaker zeitgeist in 2021, and the upcoming ‘Where the Wild Things Are’ has been circulating the rumour mill for quite some time – now we have official release details.
The design is truly out of this world, featuring wild plush fur tongues and collars, with colourful mismatched eyestays paying homage to the book’s signature colour palette. Composed in Sail, University Red, Hemp, and Barely Volt, the Air Jordan 4 is given an extra burst of aesthetic depth with alternate-coloured insoles.
Look for the Air Jordan 4 GS ‘Where the Wild Things Are’ to crawl onto shelves on November 5. The retail price is $140.
