Further Delays Forecasted for the Air Jordan 4 ‘Red Thunder’Release: TBC
A sneakerhead storm seems to be brewing, because it looks like some major delays will be hitting the highly-anticipated Air Jordan 4 ‘Red Thunder’.
A worthy follow-up to August’s ‘Lightning’ iteration, the ‘Red Thunder’ has been adorned in a black and red scheme – a classic Jordan Brand combo. In 2021, the Air Jordan 4 has been given some major attention, with highly-exclusive colabs and clean GRs touching down on the regular.
Leaks of this new ‘Red Thunder’ colourway made waves in March, before multiple salivating pics surfaced around June to further stir the hype. Composed using a high-quality build, the upper has been crafted with full-grain nubuck broken up by the use of mesh on the midfoot. Using similar colour-blocking to the OG AJ4 Thunder, it switches out the yellow for red.
Originally slated for an October 2 release, delays soon followed. It was then expected to arrive on December 23, but now they've been pushed back even further until January 15, as per @zsneakerheadz. Stay tuned for confirmation from Jordan Brand.
