Time to Cop the Air Jordan 4 ‘Midnight Navy’ at JD Sports
The is a perennial favourite among sneakerheads, with references to OG editions garnering particular fervour. This is the case with the upcoming ‘Midnight Navy’ mix, which channels shades of ‘White Cement’ but adds copious splashes of inky blue. There are a number of defining elements found on this model, which have preserved in all of its period-correct glory here. The big Jumpman on the tongue is a permanent feature, leaping proudly above the ‘Flight’ wordmark. All-white leather uppers take a textural turn with rubber netting inserts on the sides and tongue. The plastic lace ‘wings’ are speckled in grey and navy cement print, as is the midsole trim.
While so far greyscale, the colourway deepens thanks to the addition of the namesake ‘Midnight Navy’ elements on the lace hardware, outsole tongue lining and Jumpman on the heel tab. There is also a surprise hint of red on the centre of the herringbone tread – a neat nod to the ‘White Cement’ template this new colourway is based on.
