The Air Jordan 4 ‘Fire Red’ Heats Up at JD Sports

After the fan-favourite colourway heated up the Air Jordan 5 earlier this year, it’s now the Air Jordan 4’s turn to get doused in ‘Fire Red’. One of the OG renditions of Michael Jordan’s famed 1988–89 gamer, the ‘Fire Red’ 4 is back for the first time since 2012, returning with the iconic ‘Nike Air’ branding on the heel. Straight fire!

Designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan 4 sets itself apart from the rest of the Jordan Brand canon, blessed with bold mesh sections on the upper, a taller heel tab, and distinctive lace ‘waffles’. For the ‘Fire Red’, the upper comes through in familiar white leather, offset with stark black on the heel, side detailing, and top portion of the midsole. Meanwhile, the fiery highlights hit the lace waffles, lining, front half of the midsole, and the branding – most notably the tongue’s Jumpman badge and the aforementioned ‘Nike Air’ heel logo. Capping off this classic Jay is a ‘Nike Air’ hangtag and OG packaging.
