Update May 6, 2022: @prvt.selection has provided the best look yet at the Air Jordan 4 'Canyon Purple.' With rich purple suede that's far shaggier than anything we're used to seeing on a regular Air Jordan release, it's a decidedly premium pair – and a more-than-worthy secondary prize for anyone – read: everyone – who was unable to get their hands on a pair of Travis Scott's friends and family Air Jordan 4s back in 2018. Official word on a release date from Jordan Brand is pending, but they'll potentially release on August 25.
Thirsty sneakerheads have lusted after purple Air Jordan 4s since Travis Scott's purple friends-and-family only Cactus Jack x Air Jordan 4s made the rounds in 2018. Now, three years after La Flame brought the regal shade to the forefront of Jordan Brand conversations, a purple Air Jordan 4 is set to see a retail release: the women's 'Canyon Purple.'
Cutting a striking figure, the 'Canyon Purple' boasts a shaggy purple suede upper with matching purple netting. Black is used on the wings and heel tabs, while a dark green colour the Jumpman is calling 'Alligator' appears on the eyestays and midsole in a speckled fashion. Last but not least, a hit of 'Saftey Orange' can be seen on the tongue tag and backside of the tongue itself. The overall look seems to be inspired by '90s sportswear and Nike ACG in equal measure!
Though Jordan Brand have yet to confirm an official date of arrival for the Air Jordan 4 'Canyon Purple,' early reports have its debut placed on August 25. When it does hit shelves, it'll be priced at $200.
