Rui Hachimura Unleashes ‘Cranes’ Onto Air Jordan 36 and 1 PEs

Washington Wizards basketball player Rui Hachimura is the latest Jordan Brand endorsee to receive their own Player Exclusive colourways. His Japanese heritage is proudly displayed on the ‘Cranes’ Air Jordan 36 and Air Jordan 1 Low, which are decorated with intricate details.

The AJ36 is the perfect companion for Hachimura’s on-court feats. This edition uses what appears to be a screen printed pattern all over the black synthetic upper, giving the graphics extra depth. They are protected with translucent welded overlays in high-wear areas like the toe bumper. The predominately black colourway is further accented with red-pink sakura details and panel trimming.

The AJ1 Low takes a similar approach aesthetically but swaps the performance fabrics for more classic materials like suede and patent leather. Premium touches, including waxed cotton laces and golden aglets, mean this pair is definitely made for casual use.

The Air Jordan 36 ‘Cranes’ will release on September 30 in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, Philippines and Singapore. Unfortunately, the Air Jordan 1 Low will remain among Hachimura’s friends and family.
