The Air Jordan 3 'Cardinal Red' is a highly-anticipated part of Jordan Brand's forthcoming Spring 2022 Air Jordan retro collection, and ahead of its late February debut, we've been given an in-hand (and brief on-foot) look at it thanks to sneaker Instagrammer and YouTuber @dsdan1.

Bearing some colourway similarities to the popular Air Jordan 7 'Cardinal', a shoe we haven't seen in over a decade, the 'Cardinal Red' combines classic Air Jordan 3 colourblocking with some new hues for a look that's both fresh and familiar. It's crafted of premium tumbled white leather, with OG elephant print making an appearance on the toe cap, heel overlay and eyestay base.

The rich red accents that give it its name, however, are placed on the midsole, collar, top sets of eyestays, and heel's Jumpman logo. No Nike Air here – this isn't an original AJ 3 colourway! Gold details can also be seen on the tongue logos and the bottom eyestays.

Expect the Air Jordan 3 'Cardinal Red' to hit shelves on February 24, pending any supply chain issues. Its MSRP will be set at an even $200.
