Air Jordan 1 'wings' Have Been Revealed
Sneaker leakers have taken to to reveal that an ‘Wings’ release appears to be in the pipeline. Just like 2016’s , the shoe has a hardy finish over the upper that (hopefully) will wear away to show a feathery motif beneath. From other angles, we can see that the shoe has metal badges with the silhouette of Michael Jordan’s outstretched arms on the heel – a logo that is also embossed on the leather tongue. Underfoot, the translucent outsole shows the colourway name writ large on each shoe.
Considering that StockX’s numbers showed the Air Jordan 12 Wings to be among the top ten most valuable sneakers of 2016, we’re counting on this release to be huge. Expect punters to flock to them in droves and feathers to get ruffled.
The Air Jordan 1 Wings release hasn’t been confirmed by Jordan Brand just yet, but we’ll keep you in the loop with further developments.
