Update February 3, 2023: Official images of the Air Jordan 13 ‘Playoffs’ 2023 retro have surfaced online. Check out the shots above and anticipate a February 18 release.
2023 marks the 25th anniversary of the ‘Playoffs’, so will be bringing back the famous colourway as part of their All-Star Weekend festivities. originally debuted the ‘Playoffs’ during the 1998 All-Star Game and wore them frequently through the 1998 NBA Playoffs as he chased what would be his sixth and final NBA Championship. The ‘Playoffs’ isn’t one of those shoes you see every half-decade, either. Since first being released in 1998, it’s only retroed one time (2011, pictured above), making its forthcoming release the first time it’ll be back on the market in over a decade.
News on the return of the ‘Playoffs’ was broken by , who also announced it would return in full family sizes, from adults down to infants. Just like this year’s revival of the the retro is set to be as close as possible to the original model, from its last to its materials, branding and packaging. We wouldn’t mind if the midsole bleeding went away, though!
Expect the Air Jordan 13 ‘Playoffs’ to make a triumphant return on February 18, 2023, the day before the 2023 NBA All-Star Game in Salt Lake City. Adult-sized pairs will be priced at $210.
