The Stealthy Air Jordan 13 ‘Court Purple’ Strikes!
2022 is off to a hot start with the highly anticipated ‘Court Purple' finally hitting shelves!
Emblazoning various Air Jordan models in recent years (most notably on the and ), the regal ‘Court Purple’ colourway has finally made its way to the Air Jordan 13, the design replete with the beguiling cat eye hologram and reflective textile uppers.
Rendered in a classy, two-toned makeup, this AJ13 is of course crafted to all the OG specifications. Pockmarked side walls and tongues are rendered in black, while the luxe purple suede is utilised on the collars and midsoles – somewhat reminiscent of Mike Bibby’s legendary Air Jordan PEs.
Originally paying homage to Michael Jordan’s ‘Black Cat’ moniker (MJ’s speed and dexterity was frequently referred to as cat-like), the AJ13 first made its appearance on the hardwood during the 1997-98 NBA season. Long considered a classic among Jordan-heads, the AJ13 also features panther-like paws on the outsoles and tech innovations like the carbon fibre plate.
