The Air Jordan 10 City Pack is just like the NBA Finals right now. Just when you think they're through – you're gifted with another game in the series. This time the pack visits North Carolina, a region pivotal in the Michael Jordan legacy. As a local, it was at Laney High School and the University of North Carolina that Jordan's talent was first noticed on a national level – prior to being drafted to the Bulls. It was only natural for MJ to return to North Carolina when he became the first ex-NBA player to be a majority owner in the league, purchasing the struggling Charlotte Bobcats franchise in 2010.
Since the Charlotte NBA team revived their iconic Hornets moniker in 2014, Jordan Brand have released a number of Air Jordan silhouettes wearing the iconic Hornets colours. The midsection of this Air Jordan 10s upper is dressed in a simple greyed white, which allows the 'Charlotte' colourway to take centre stage. The lacing system chops up dark purple and teal – a colour sequence that is mirrored on the outsole – while 'CHA' is inscribed on the heel padding.
The Air Jordan 10 Charlotte will be available from the SNKRS page of Nike online on June 18.
