Release Date: Air Jordan 1 Mid ‘Mocha Toe’

The dialogue around the Mid is shifting from one of utter disdain to a more cautiously accepting tone. As sneakerheads have their change of heart about the maligned model, colourways like the ‘Mocha Toe’ will continue to present a strong case for adoption.
Of course, this specific example is likely to be more warmly received because of its similarities to other AJ1s using the moodboard-friendly chocolate tones. This particular pair was a couple of months ago in sample form, and it does seem that they are indeed releasing without any major changes from that earlier look.
One of the unique selling points of this pair is its use of canvas, akin to the AJKO. Unlike that model, this Mid does indeed have Air cushioning. Other points of difference include the embroidered eyelets for reinforcement, plus the unorthodox inclusion of a thickly embroidered Swoosh on the sides in place of a stitched piece.
Despite these substitutions, other elements are left somewhat true to OG, namely the ‘toe’ style colour-blocking and otherwise black and white colourway. The ‘Mocha’ addition wraps the ankles and toe box – because it’s canvas, they won’t crease!
The Air Jordan 1 Mid ‘Mocha Toe’ should be arriving in coming months.
