With Teddy Santis recently tapped by New Balance to seize the reins as creative director, it looks like Aimé Leon Dore and NB are set for another huge year in 2021. One of the more unexpected collaborations between NB and ALD of 2020 involved the NB550, a long-forgotten hardwood sneaker from the 1980s.
The first batch of ALD's Spring 2021 New Balance 550s sold out damn quick (leaving most of us nursing Ls in our inbox). Thankfully, we’ve got another chance at the red colourway, the coveted colab arriving at stores again this week.
