Here's Your First Look at the Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance RC56

Teddy Santis’s and first teamed up in 2019 for a pair of (intentionally) mismatched . Since then, the duo has become no strangers to collaboration, dropping a steady stream of kicks and apparel over the last few years. Reuniting for their first project of 2025, ALD and NB have once again joined forces, this time unveiling a brand new model: the RC56.
First teased as part of the brand's seasonal campaign, a first look at the colab shows off a mossy colour scheme with green, yellow and silver tones on the upper paired with an off-white midsole and black accents. Co-branding arrives on the tongue, while ALD’s Queens Crest logo is placed at the heel.
Maintaining a modest stack height underfoot, the RC56 draws inspiration from some of the Boston brand's most iconic silhouettes and incorporates moulded contours and a streamlined design that underscores its hybrid nature. Stylistically, the look is similar to the New Balance 1000, featuring a rounded toe, curvy overlays and a shank. Rounding out the colab with a hint of modern flair, the N-lock tech, also used on the , extends past the eye-stay, acting as the second lace loop.
There's no news on the launch details just yet, but enjoy a closer look at the model and keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for the latest.
