ALD and NB must have been watching ‘Winning Time’, as Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics-themed colourways hit the Steve Smith-designed 80s sneakers. The 550s feature an aged leather upper, with Lakers and Celtics accented hues in jersey mesh form. The 650 takes white leather on the base as the jersey mesh accents are again in Lakers and Celtics form respectively. Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance co-branding is seen on the tongue tag and heel, as a rubber outsole finishes off the respective sneakers.
The Fall/Winter 2023 Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 550 and 650 are open for raffle now until October 26, 2023, with the 550 retailing for $130 and the 650 retailing for $165. Hit the link below to enter the raffle.
