Aimé Leon Dore's Latest Clarks Wallabees and Desert Boots Are Swathed in Snakeskin

Aimé Leon Dore are rolling out the 'Uniform II' component of their FW21 collection today, and to accompany their staple jersey cotton hoodies and sweatpants they've worked with Clarks to cook up two pairs of Wallabees and two takes on the Desert Boot. A key part of the brand's collections each season along with their famous New Balance colabs, ALD's Clarks always use some sort of elevated material (2020's Casentino wool pairs come to mind) and this time around the material in question is a scaly snakeskin.

Two takes on both Clarks classics have been produced – one of which features a brown, black and white snakeskin pattern with black laces and a black crepe sole, the other of which offers a lighter mix of white, tan and black tones with matching laces and a traditional brown sole. Both of the Wallys are trimmed with ultra-premium suede, and all four pairs are embellished with a special hangtag. The shades used are reminiscent of Clarks' 'Military Pack' from a few years back, but the materials are definitely different!

You can expect all of these Aimé Leon Dore x Clarks Wallabees and Desert Boots to release on the brand's webstore today, December 10. At the time of writing an official retail price has not been announced, but as the last pair of Wallys cost $260 these will likely be in the same neighbourhood.
