and ' collaborative relationship stretches back a decade, and it's entering a new chapter in 2022 with a fresh dubbed the 'B.O.I.'. Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of 'wabi-sabi' – the acceptance of transience and imperfection – the 'B.O.I.' is loaded with special details that shift with wear, making for a unique, hand-crafted look.
The 'B.O.I' comes dressed in supple grey suede and is adorned with green Tiger stripes and purple heel embellishments. These Tiger stripes provide some key details, namely that they were made to wear away on the lateral side (revealing a hidden detail) and are embroidered for a switch-up on the medial side. The shoe's leather heel mold is a first for the GEL-Lyte III, and co-branded heel details sit above a jaggedly-stitched overlay that's split between cloth and suede. Printed cork insoles and traditional gum outsoles finalise the look.
