Update July 29, 2022: The adidas Yeezy Foam Runner 'MX Carbon' is set to drop on August 2 as part of Yeezy Day 2022's extensive release slate, and ahead of its arrival Yeezy Mafia has given us a much clearer look at its colourful stylings. Feast your eyes on the new set of images above, read the original story below for more info and get ready for Yeezy Day on the 2nd – it's bound to be hectic!

Yeezy Day – a sacred annual day of shopping blessings for Kanye West's acolytes – is right around the corner, and it's just been revealed that one of its many releases will be a new take on the Foam Runner. Dubbed the 'MX Carbon,' it's an easy contender for the most colourful Foam Runner we've ever seen as it eschews the monochromatic stylings of most past models in favour of a four-colour jumble.

Pink, grey, black and bright yellow are spread across the upper in a marbled fashion – the first three appear from heel to toe, while the fourt is only present on the forefoot for a little extra pop of flair. Like other Foam Runners, the 'MX Carbon' is made from a special bio-based algae foam, and features plenty of ventilation so that it can be worn both with and without socks.

You can expect the adidas Yeezy Foam Runner 'MX Carbon' to touch down as part of the Yeezy Day release slate on August 2. It'll be priced at $90.

Did you know that the Yeezy Foam Runner was crafted in part by Steven Smith, the current head of DONDA Industrial Design and a tenured footwear designer that's made some of the most iconic silhouettes of the past few decades?
