While recent releases from Kanye West and adidas' imprint haven't been as sought-after when compared to the Yeezy's of yore, this first generation BOOST 700 is bound to fly off shelves. One of the posterboys for all-conquering label, the continues to transfix sneakerheads in 2022, the chunky silhouette carrying the torch for contemporary dad shoes. Recently, the model has appeared in its indelible edition, as well as a high-top sample that caused much discussion online.
Now, in-hand images of the Yeezy BOOST 700 ‘Hi-Res Red’ have surfaced, the searing blocking somewhat reminiscent of the legendary ‘Red October’(at least on the uppers). Again manufactured in its classic mix of leather, suede and mesh, the Yeezy 700 of course comes with its perennial BOOST cushioning, while accents of teal and orange allude to its classic ‘Wave Runner’ progenitor.
Importantly, the shoe is made with consciously sourced materials, including EVA foam and harvested algae.
Look for the adidas Yeezy Boost 700 ‘Hi-Res Red’ to release on June 17. The retail price is locked at $300. An exact source for is not credited, however, they are now circulating online.
