While the whole world is currently taken over by Yeezy hype, Yohji Yamamoto's Y-3 camp has quietly dropped another re-release of their iconic Qasa High in triple black for adidas loyalists who still appreciate the one that started it all. Last seen as part of the Y-3 line-up at the start of 2014, if you're subscribed to the black-on-black sports luxe look than you gotta have the grand-daddy of the style. The iconic Qasa deserves its place on the adidas Mount Rushmore, having ushered in a new aesthetic for The Three Stripes that has now trickled down to the Kanye project and the budding Tubular range. Although not a silhouette anyone can pull off, you can't deny its impact on sneaker culture and fashion at large. Looks like the Qasa is here to stay.
