adidas to Drop New York 'Core Black' for the City that Never Sleeps
runner has embarked on a steadily paced marathon from the Stripes' 80s archives to 2017's streets. A number of New Yorks have trotted towards us in the past few months. And now that 2017's finish line is in sight, a 'Core Black' colourway is making a dash for our attention.
This model's got everything you'd want in a retro runner: a textured gum sole, a metallic mesh upper in 'dad tracksuit' grey, and classic adidas branding on the tongue and heel. Adding some new tech to the New York, the Stripes have wrapped up an EVA midsole in some interesting white webbing.
The New York 'Core Black' won't be crossing the finish line this year, but adidas have slated the release for sometime in January 2018. As they say, slow and steady wins the race! Keep an eye on Inflammable's for updated details of the drop.
