adidas' Speedfactory AM4NYC Releases This Weekend
After London and Paris got their own adidas Speedfactory AM4s, it’s finally New York's turn.
The Speedfactory refers not to any benefits you’ll see on your personal best (though with all that tech you're bound to shave off a couple of seconds) but to adidas’ digitally automated factory system. The Speedfactory, which launched in 2015, uses robots in the assembly line, allowing for more streamlined production.
The AM4NYC sees a simple black upper with laser-cut knit and a heat-fused lace supports set atop cushy BOOST for maximum energy return.
To coincide with the launch, adidas are launching the interactive Speedfactory Lab in Brooklyn where guests can take the shoes for a test run.
This all kicks off over the weekend, so get to it.
