You Can Golf in This Limited Edition adidas Samba
The has experienced a boom in popularity over the past year, with plenty of hype injected into the timeless classic silhouette. Now, alongside the slew of sport-specific versions, such as the , four new golf editions are set to release! Team Trefoil are well aware that the traditional golf season is ending, so they’ve made these special ‘Limited Edition’ versions to keep the golfer spirit going.
‘As summer closes and we turn towards fall, we wanted to inspire golfers to stay energized on the course,’ said Masun Denison, global footwear director, adidas Golf, in a press release. ‘The Samba, named after the iconic Brazilian dance and one of the brand’s oldest footwear franchises, was a perfect model of choice. The bright colors are fun and allow people to showcase their personality as well.’
Four colourways have been chosen, replicating the tones seen from sunrise to sunset. adidas also made sure to keep the Samba shape as close to the non-golf version as possible but added performance details like the adiwear spikeless outsole and forefoot suction cups. Interestingly, adidas also created this pair using recycled materials and a microsuede upper for durability and water resistance.
The ‘Limited Edition’ adidas golf Samba will release at select retailers beginning September 15.
