The adidas Response CL Looks Good in ‘Metal Grey’

The Y2K aesthetic has taken over, with the 20-year trend cycle in full effect, and it’s trickling down to the sneakersphere with early-2000s looking silhouettes absolutely popping! Keeping up with the happenings, adidas have been pushing their Response CL in a slew of colourways including this brand new joint in ‘Metal Grey’.

A little bit old and a little bit new, the Response CL pulls its upper design straight from the 2003 Response Cushion featuring crisp mesh panelling and subtle reflective detailing. Bringing it into the 2020s is the adiPrene injected into the midsole to ensure a cushy ride. This particular iteration looks a lot more premium than before, thanks to the tonal grey vibe and luxe suede panels.
