adidas Originals and FOOT INDUSTRY Deliver Four Super-Luxe Gazelles

As they continue to capitalise on the terrace trend, adidas have taken their classic styles for a spin overseas via a collaboration with FOOT INDUSTRY. For this colab, the Three Stripes have worked with the Japanese footwear manufacturer on a couple of new iterations of the adidas Gazelle, each with craftsmanship and premium materials at their core.

This new project revisits the Gazelle’s roots in track and field sports and tells the story of how the no-frills discipline captured the world’s attention thanks to the constant ingenuity of brands and athletes. Highlighting the simplicity of the scene in the 1980s, each of the FOOT INDUSTRY x adidas Gazelles remains fairly minimalist, with the most pronounced details being extended sets of Stripes on each pairs’ sidewalls and a flip-over tongue and stitching details on the Gazelle indoor, which nods to Copa football boots instead of athletics.
