UPDATE: It's one thing to peep snaps of a shoe looking all schmick in the studio, it's another to see it put to work. With the release of the next NMD silhouette inbound, adidas have provided us with a selection of images of the R1 in its element – pounding pavement out on the streets. The NMD_R1 drops January 30th at selected adidas Originals stockists but be warned, these will sell out fast.

After making its way on to market in the final days of 2015, 2016 is shaping up to be a big year for ' Boost-equipped  line. While adi have been keeping their cards close with the official comment, we've seen sneaky leaks dropping on the daily suggesting a stack of upcoming colourways for the , including triple black and triple white get-ups that have got sneakerheads fiending. Swooping in to put an end to speculation, the kings of German sportswear have finally broken their silence and revealed their first NMD release of the year – the NMD_R1 Primeknit. A new addition to the line, the R1 iteration of the nomadic trainer ditches the Three Stripes branding and gains a patterned Primeknit upper. The first of many NMD releases we can expect for 2016, this monochromatic make-up will be hitting select adidas Originals accounts on January 30th.
