adidas Have Dropped a See-Through Superstar
The has received its fair share of striking makeups over the past few weeks, including a , , and a collaborative ‘’. Now there’s another one on the way, and it’s reminiscent of a certain sought-after colab.
In 2019, UK skater and all-round cool guy released his collaboration with adidas on a completely translucent Superstar. He then followed it up with with a few more colourways, namely the recent ‘’ iteration. That last collaborative drop signified the end to the partnership, but good news has arrived for those of you who enjoyed the see-through Superstar but missed out on the collaborative release. Team Trefoil have just dropped a General Release version.
As the base, a completely clear TPU provides the most obvious design feature. Leather trimming remains along the collar, tongue, heel and eyestays, while the sides boast Three Stripes branding, and the rear reps a Trefoil logo. The final touches include the Shell Toe front details and ‘Superstar’ scripted in gold across the lateral side.
