adidas' GWAR-TEX Collection Is a Tribute to Gary Warnett

are releasing a sneaker tribute to the late arbiter of streetwear and sneaker culture, Gary Warnett. This new GWAR-TEX Waterproof was brought to life by Warnett’s friend, and senior design director at adidas, Chris Law. The model is one that another friend, Gary Aspden, says is ‘an apt choice’ because they were ‘probably his favourite adidas shoe’. The name plays on GWARIZM, the name of Warnett’s blog, and the colourway is named after his dog, Molly.
