Following the release of the Patta x Nike Air Max Plus ‘FC Barcelona’, adidas have thrown their own football colab into the ring with the Real Madrid Gazelle. Real Madrid and adidas routinely collaborate with a few releases each year, and it makes sense for the next venture to be with the Gazelle. The football-inspired silhouette had a major impact on the sneakersphere this year, with a terrace resurgence taking over feeds and feet, and the Real Madrid football club are experiencing similar highs this year, as they are, at the time of writing, provisionally sitting in the top spot after winning 3–0 against Cádiz. The two icons have created a collaborative pair that features smooth navy suede across the entire upper, with the Three Stripes, midsole and heel accent hitting in a crisp white. The lateral Gazelle branding and heel Trefoil logo are debossed with a metallic gold that adds a luxurious touch, and dark navy laces to round out the design. Stamped on the tongue is the notable Real Madrid emblem, making the Gazelle’s alliances clear as day.
