adidas have kicked off the new year all guns blazing. Affirming rumours, the Stripes have officially confirmed a January 18 release date for the Futurecraft 4D, finally granting the public access to the previously friends and fam exclusive.

Yes, the mind-melting design will finally hit shelves, but it'd be silly to expect an easy cop. Pairs will be released exclusively through three top-tier Consortium doors: Kith, Packer and Sneakersnstuff's newly opened NYC location.

The Futurecraft 4D won't come cheap either; instead, it'll come with a $300 price tag. However, considering its wild cutting-edge tech (the 4D certainly raises the bar more than any adidas design we've seen since the debut of BOOST technology) it seems a fair price.
