The ‘Put In Work’ adidas Forum High OG 84 Exudes Vintage Vibes
The has quickly become a sneakersphere mainstay after it was propelled back into the limelight after many years laying idle in the adidas archive. The legendary silhouette was born way back in 1984 and for the time was pricey – with a $100 RRP and worn by pro athletes, entertainers and those with a large disposable income. It wasn’t until 2020 that its resurrection took place, rising from the ashes in the form of highly-limited colabs and special projects that spotlighted the 80s hardwood veteran. However, with all of its newfound glory and fame, Team Trefoil has never forgotten its history and are honouring its heritage with a new pack dubbed ‘Put In Work’.
Two different colourways of the Forum High OG 84s have been created and both exude some serious vintage vibes due to the artificial patina that has been added to each. We first witnessed this pack, which includes a and , back in January of 2022 and with the whole pre-distressed trend still bubbling, were received well. They both rock the classic 1980s-inspired full leather upper with usual perforations and simplistic two-tone colour-blocking. Each pair boasts a yellowed midsole and plenty of upper scuffs to look as though they’ve been sitting in a box for years.
Following the first look at the upcoming adidas Forum High OG 84 ‘Put In Work’ pack, we’ve now received a release date! You can expect them to drop via the CONFIRMED app and select retailers on March 3.
