Portland Trailblazer Damian Lillard steps up with his third adidas signature model. The Dame 3 is a low-top tuned-up performance silhouette that supports Lillard’s accelerated gameplay. The shoe features a Techfit upper and a healthy serve of Bounce cushioning. The fresh model initially launches in two colourways, ‘Roots’ and ‘Rip City’. The Roots iteration sees a tonal makeup in red paying homage to Dame’s early days with the Oakland Rebels as a teenager. The colourway reflects the team colours, but also training drills conducted by carrying bricks. The second instalment, dropping early next year, sees the silhouette made up in the Trailblazer’s team colours. The predominantly white upper is complemented with red and black accents. Adding a personal touch, the sneaker features references to influential places in Dame’s story: Oakland where he grew up; Ogden, where he attended college; and Oregon, the state in which Portland is located.

The Dame 3 ‘Roots’ colourway drops December 14 while the ‘Rip City’ version will release on January 19.
